This being an older video, the ebay listing isn't valid any more, it's "ended". But a search using the item description came up with a LOT of others, some of which had as many as 15 buttons on the remote! Now to think of some uses for this thing…

What is your effective maximum range?

    How to wire it up?

Learning mode only to add transmitters that's a little disappointing. It would have been cool to learn to latch for say 10 seconds. or add endstops to the thing If you use it for a lock or door and have a lot of visitors you need to keep this thing locked up otherwise people can give themselves access 🙂

    Hello Julian,

How nice to hear an English accent.

I'm looking for a way of wiring two solenoids which are going to oper ate alive catch rodent trap.

I need 12 volts for this. I have looked at adapting a wireless door chime but the out put on that is only 3 volt. By the way, I have O level physics only!

Any thoughts much appreciated? (I'm on very limited budget)

Thanks for sharing an informative tut/video.

    David
