What happens when you connect a 21W light bulb to a 20W solar panel? A bright shiny light? Perfect synergy between power source and load?

Hi, thank you for keeping this up for 9 years!
Not much power huh
Even 50 watt panel won't be able to light it up bright. You are using incorrect load
What a waste, you might use 12 volt dc led bulb and use voltage regulator ic
You'd need a minimum of 1.7amps.. 1700ma at 12 volts to get that bulb bright, infact to get it bright you'd need closer to 13.5 volts.
That solar panel isn't capable even in perfect conditions for running that bulb.
You'd need to add some boosting circuit, which would reduce the efficiency of the system
Can i build solar garden with this panel?
Hey! I also want to build a solar charger but I have few questions, could you please help me?
will a 20 watt solar panel without a charge controller overcharge and burn a 12v battery if no load? Its an older 12v battery and i will have a load from a 12v security camera with motion detection, but not anticipating a lot of motion. It's a remote property and dont want to put too much money into the system as it will all likely be stolen.
Need a smaller watt bulb then it will be bright about 8watt or 5 or 3watt led be better alot brighter .try connecting up a 12 volt 3watt led or something
Can I suggest me which solar panels best for me, mono crystal or poly crystal solar panels which is the best?
Pls tell me….I live in Bangladesh
That's the reason they charge controller is so important with a solar panel he can help equalize the electricity
An absolutelute cloudless day, turns around and sees a lightning storm coming towards him just to prove him wrong
Get a MPPT voltage controller or a regulated power supply (cheap and easily built around the 317K chip) !
THANK YOU
Fake. This is only 7 W solar. NOT 20 W
