Would this power electrical gardening equipment on an allotment like a strimmer or rotavater?

Hi Julian, Thanks for the Video. I am a glass artist and was looking to purchase one of these to power my led light boxes at an art show. I wanted to run 17 led light boxes each with a 12V 1A adapter. I am not understanding all the watts and amps etc. Do you think it could run an extension lead with these light boxes plugged in? Thanks ever so much

Hey, great review, thank you! I have a tec question maybe u could help. We left the Jackery 240’s Outlet switch on in its back going on a 4 hour journey (nothing was plugged in)
We when we got to our destination and took it out of the bag it was very warm / hot & both fans was running !
The fans would have struggled to get air for whatever length they were on. Any idea if the heat was coming from the battery, the inverter or the fans them selfs?
As far as we knew there was a cut off built into it so I’m wondering why it wouldn’t have shut down ? I reset the battery and it appears to be working 100% , surprisingly fans seem fine etc. Thanks in advance

Pass through charging is confusing by Jackery, you can check that on their Amazon product page in the FAQ section.

Q2: Can the Explorer 240 be charged while using?

A: Yes, Explorer 240 supports pass-through charging. But we don't suggest, it will cause damage to battery life.
    Great in depth review 👏👏

I think as you didn't pay for it is no real loss for you, whether this works or not and certainly not to your pocket. Definitely a huge gain receiving it free. The review was helpful. I have did my research 3 years ago on the Jackery power stations and looked when it was launched at their solar panel. Personally I like the unit as recently purchased it, but the fact their is no USB Type C out put USB is very disappointing on the E240 and alike. Looking into a adapter, more unecessary expense. I also didn't like the Jackery Solar panel as one it is very pricey and two not even waterproof, major non selling point for me, this is the UK. So I found a compatible foldable solar panel at a very good price that other Jackery users have recommended.

Cons are no USB Type C on unit.
    Solar panel not waterproof
Both items very pricey to have these as cons is disappointing.
