If there is condensation on the inside of the box, there will be condensation on the board. And if there's water on the board, it will corrode. So you're no better off than you were before. Good luck with that. Have fun replacing them every year or two.
I guess it gives you something to regularly make a video about.

Wouldn't it be easier to just fasten the zip tie as normal round the cable and just screw the end piece, if you know how I mean? :p But ofc, then you would use two zip ties, instead of one. 😀
Hey Julian… Why not multiple solar panels to just one PCB ? Van Dwellers all have 3 or 4 panels to one charge controller ? your Thoughts ?????

That's annoying, that it still gets condensation inside. I'm guessing the wire in a close fitting hole, is using capillary to attract/hold water at the breathing hole. Needs more experimentation, ie, maybe sealing the holes. In a jetski they use a wedged grommet on the wire, and that gets compressed in the special through-hole fitting.
Why didn't wrap the cable tie around the cable the way you're meant to, pull it tight, then screw the tail? I thought that's the way you were going to do it.
