Wait what soldering iron is that
Are you secretly lord bucket head?
What distance do you use for spacing the legs of the resistors on your boards?
I don't mean how wide you bend them, but what's the spacing on the PCB?
what is all that craze on separating the metals about? it does not make all that much difference electrically given the very moderate lenghts your gonna use and the recyclers will probably just stick a magnet in as well…
I like your new soldering technique, very classy.

Love your work and delivery, Julian!! I don't understand why the numbers seem low (views and thumbs up). I am fascinated with everything you do. I guess people want to see things taken apart, not put together. I know you are going full steam ahead with the Vocoder (awesome) but this winter, revisit the (diesel) heater (and all the other improvements) in your shop. (?). Carry on, Good Man! Cheerio!
Vocoder! Vocoder! Vocoder! There's no place like Julian's. There's no place like Julian's……..(The Wizard of "Voz").
parsimonious soldering
Please provide my informational content per unit time. There was really very little after about the first 5 minutes.

"Just soldering and babbling…" Talking to a camera is like talking to yourself, one never know's if anyone is going to listen. Well, i realize, with 176K subscribers you do of course, but still there's no guarantee is there?
I talk to myself, it's a sign of intelligence. It keeps me from going bonkers.
Apple, Pear, Pear…
Gee, in 10 yrs. you'll save 5 cents in solder, lol… In the mean time you'll have dozens of dry joints…
Julian, apart from short link wires, what do you use your cut-offs for? Only you appear to be gaining far more than you could possibly use. I keep some, but I find that I have more than I need…
@JULIAN! Get those cut-offs in the bin (recycle :)) you don't need them! haha
