Hello Julian. I like your Postbag videos. It has inspired me to buy things on ebay, that come from far off lands. An MP3 player board, arrived today. Its the one with TF, USB, 4 buttons. Came from Vienna. Theres a yellow label on the packet. Goods not fulfilling the conditions laid down in Articles 28 and 29 of the treaty on the functioning of the Europe an Union. Yes there is a gap near the end of European. Is this a customs label. So I have to pay £10 on a £1 item. Or has Igor, in Vienna put the sticker on the packet. Have you seen such a label. Isnt article 28 to do with diversity. So if I put Abba tracks on the USB stick. Will that be ok with the LGBT
Bent would most assuredly NOT be acceptable as far as I'm concerned. That's just not packaged properly for what it is, plain and simple. And as long as people continue to accept this kind of nonsense they'll continue to do it! I ordered some barrel connectors a while back, and some of them came in distorted, having gotten smooshed (technical term there) in the post, somewhere. I am currently awaiting a replacement order…
Its getting really hard to get high value log pots these days for analog or audio. 1M is OK, but 2M is difficult. I also needed a C type pot, reverse logarithmic, that was fun. Best bet is shops that sell spare parts for electric guitars or Amps. I have seen up to 10M log, but it was expensive. With the popularity of DIY analog synths growing, hopefully some of the hard to get stuff will be reproduced.

The identical label on both sides for once came in handy recently when order leaked, or was leaked on, which erased the thermal-printed label on counterpart sides on each label. So the complete information was pretty much there, you just had to flip the package back and forth to each label.
You use the staple remover wrongly, really 🙂
Are logarithmic pots the ones that go to 11?!?

HaHaHa, Tayda Electronics my Fav seller for parts. They have several sellers here in the US and Ti-Shan is only 175 miles from my house here in the US. I get my parts in 2 days when I order them…. I think Ti-Shan is a sub of the same group here in the US… Great people and the count is always correct… I have never had but one issue years ago and they took care of it ASP and I always get a E-Mail or any issues with my orders… Good Luck….
