Haha, surprised you got an Ozito Julian. I am Australian myself and Ozito is a budget brand that is from Australia, it's in bunnings warehouse here and other stores. I find the name kind of funny as the marketers clearly thought of trying to make it sound like a Japanese brand name to try to make people think it's high quality and assume it's Japanese.
It surprised me to see it in your video, I guess the world is a little smaller than I thought.
Ozito is an Australian brand, now owned by Einhell which I believe is where Ozitos Power X range comes from…

That was an adventure! Thank You for sharing this, Julian. You made it better. I have an LED flashlight that I modified so I could toggle between the end light and the front light. (It was 4 clicks of the switch; 1 front light; 2 end light; 3 both lights; 4 off) Now I can hit the button on/off for each light individually. Slide switch I added separates the two. What a PAIN to get that flashlight back together. And there weren't even any pivot points! Beautiful Job, Julian!

You never showed us the spring and ball bearing going back in….I really want to see that, Julian. Now that you taken it apart and put it back together it should be a doddle next time. P.s Have a question about the LED drivers from Ebay, the ones with the holes drill in the case for ventilation, is there anyway to modify them to output 14v rather than 12v?

Hehe. I just recently got done putting a replacement IMR18650 battery into one of those mini drill drivers. (The little ones that used to be commonly available, but you can't find anymore.) The problem was the only battery I could find that matched had onboard protection circuitry that the original didn't. I had to do quite a bit of internal plastic surgery to get it to close back up.
Maybe you should have swapped which direction you fed the power and switch wires out the hinge. It would have saved crossing them over on the PCB?
sometimes i face the same difficulties when resembling something, and i think that Chinese workers must be a really good. even have you tried to put something again in his box/package? how they do that!
