Just clarity please Julian, how many singers were there? I could only hear 3. I'd guess at Skeeter Davies, Brenda Lee and Karen Carpenter. But the best cover is by Miia with PMJ. Briliant video by the way, as always.
I have had those flickering candle LEDs where there is actually a circuit board inside incorporating a blob chip (& supporting components!) connected to a normal LED. But most you find all have it inbuilt to the LED itself nowadays. The last one I pulled apart was about as simple as you can get. It didn't have any battery connexion bits, it just pressed one of the LED wires onto one side of the cell. And the switch only consisted of the actuator bit, which simply moved the other wire onto touching the other side of the battery & away. It was actually impressive just how stripped down they had made the design, but I can't see the "switch" lasting too many cycles! lol
Using three AA cells is annoying, but at least white LEDs can get more life out of them that way. Having to change cells that have only discharged to 1.46 volts to fix a dim string of lights is never fun.
Christmas in August!
Sure, Christmas all year-round.
No! Just August.
One is defo skeeter davis… love that track
"Who were the singers, five of them?"
Everyone is mentioning Skeeter Davis, uh, I don't think she's five singers in one.
I'm saying Herman's Hermits — they also did a recording of the song that became quite popular, I believe…
Poor Julian, emotionally crippled that his fave store is going OOB! LOL
I got the ILETT right off, BTW.
Sorry Julian. Pound World seemed like an interesting place. The Dollar Store here seems to be going strong, and everything is only a dollar.
I go into poundword, Poundland type shops then come home and think why have a spent 拢10 on crap I don鈥檛 want or need. It鈥檚 mostly cheap and nasty novelty stuff.
Is it Christmas in England ?
"Santa please stop" sounds <completely> different from "Santa stop here".
I seen someone in my local branch buy 4 TRAYS of those battery string lights (not the fancy ones) I do wonder what they were gonna do with them…
