Fitting the last few components to the PWM5 solar charge controller gumstick version. Also, more on the TS100 user interface. Also, my collection of lead-acid gel batteries seems to have been neglected.

Who else was waiting for Julian to string 11 Eneloops together and get cracking!?

I agree with the other commenters recommending to hold the lead batteries around 14V, current limited, for a time. They won't have a great capacity or Ir but they might stack a few electrons for you. Once a cell shorts internally then recycle it.

What is the minimum input voltage needed to charge the battery with this circuit?

Can you tell me if the TS100 handle gets hot after leaving it on for a long time? I would like one for work but worry if I have it on all day it might get too hot to handle!

I wonder if the pwm5 can charge super caps?

Flux isn’t your friend. JLCPCB is…..

Flux moaners apparently are not your friend 🙂

A cheap 300W pure sine inverter and a temperature compensated 12v battery charger are useful for charging and maintaining other lead acid batteries in remote locations and you already have free energy and several batteries.

Adding a good flux is not an option for making proper solders. Totally essential for SMD components.
