TS100 Soldering Iron Kit on Banggood: https://bit.ly/2JJpHA6
Unboxing (and a very nice box it is too) of the TS100 soldering iron. Also, an attempt to solder the fork terminals linking two large supercapacitors. Didn't work too well, but I'm loving this iron ๐

The includes stand is trash. I know this from mine [Pinecil]
I designed my own stand based on a few m12 washers. which are the perfect size for the tips to rest into.
Not forgetting as the firmware is open-source, you can easily upgrade it. to a better firmware, with more features
Link goes to a dead product. Is there a new version?
Does anyone know what material is the carcass(shell) of the soldering iron made out of?
Hiรง gรผรงlรผ deฤil
I've had nothing but bad experiences with Banggood. From sellers to customer service. I pay a little more, but I get much more reliable service from other e-tailers.
Use a 24v 3A PSU and you will see how capable this iron is !
I like it but is there a 2020 newer version of the same package with all the tips?
THe iron sits in the holder next to the case, and not up near the hot end…that way holds it better.
banggood shit has expensive, i just looking same and cheapen this can buy whitout all little parts only solder and one tip, less than 20$
I never thought I'd find a soldering iron beautiful.
I think the manual also said not to change tips when it is plugged in? Maybe it was okay because you had it in sleep mode and cold. Did I misread that?
Thumbs
Those lines mean heat , not steady as it goes, lol.
