    Hi Julian, I just wanted to say I love your videos and often look to your past videos for information on some of the less well-documented bits and bobs of eBay electronics.

    I thought I should also let you know that alice1101983 really let me down recently by sending a package of about $100 in hardware to the wrong address – they asked me to be nice about it and not open a case, then led me on for a few days until it was just past the 30-day guarantee window with eBay. I am really disappointed in them and disappointed in myself for trusting them. I'm just mentioning this in case you consider getting something expensive from them; be sure to open a case if you didn't get what you expected.

    A Joule Thief is a simple electronic circuit, that takes in a small input voltage (<2 volts) and multiplies that voltage to power devices that require higher voltages to run (like LEDs, that usually require at least 2-3 volts to run). for those like me who had no idea what he was talking about
