For my upcoming lecture on the Linear Feedback Shift Register, I wanted to build a line of 32 Neopixels to replace the WS2812B ring (which isn't very linear). A few code modifications and the project is complete 🙂

is that led thingy gonna help me build a flux capacitor??? I am bored in this timezone.
A great solder sucker is a genuine "Soldapullt". It has a higher capacity, a larger and more powerful spring and better seals than a typical aluminium piston cheapie.
Is it safe to have a lead figurine?
JUlian could this be done with a digispark… i would love to get a sketch working on digispark…
put a sheet of thin paper on top of leds for camera
Nice Teaser Video!!! I can't wait to see what you are going to do with your 32 NeoPixel Strip and a PIC!!! 😉
Hi Julian, love the video! To diffuse really bright LEDs so they don't swamp out the camera, I've used a piece of baking paper in the past. It preserves the color pretty well but breaks the light up enough. Would be easy to make a sleeve of baking paper with some tape on the back.
I got a little colour changing snowman a bit like that angel but it did a really horrible fast colour fade then went into strobe type flashing of the different colours. I swapped the led for a slow fade one and its quite nice now but I really should stop buying crap like that
When you went to program with the PICKIT2 Found a 12F683 – I thought that the board used a 12F675 device. Have you swapped it or maybe the programmer sees them as the same?
It would be cool if you introduced colour to divide the bits, or a different colour for each consecutive number.
If you build a 32 x 32 neo pixel live audio level meter I'll buy it 🙂
With those exposed contacts on the back, you'd be screwed if you wanted to stick this to a bit of aluminum or similar to act as a heat sink. Although I guess they probably don't get hot enough to warrant that in the first place.
what program language is this? Sorry if you mentioned it and I did not understand. I'm just learning English.
