Not a review, just some Christmas gift ideas. But these are gifts to give yourself - from yourself! I like both these hexacopters, even though the H606 is about 10 times the size of the H20.

I just bought the lasted H20. They fixed the battery connection so it's easy to plug in/out. They also added a on/off switch so you don't have to disconnect the battery 👍.

For normal flying around, there is no difference between 4 or 6 props. Depending on the configuration, 6 props can drain the battery faster than 4 props, but that is usualy just poor design. For lifting capacity, more props the better 🙂 For redundancy, if a quad prop goes, so does your quad, but if a hexcopter prop goes, as long as the flight controller is programmed properly, it can still fly without any dramas. Headless mode means you can forget around the rudder (rotation) – it will fly relative to the direction it was facing when you set it into headless mode. So if the nose/front was facing the window when you put it in headless mode, and you holding the controller facing the same direction, forwards would hit the window, back would hit you, and left/right would go left/right. and you can spin the quad, and it will still move relative to the direction it was originally facing – which can confuse the heck out of you if you turn 😉 The H20 is a lovely little hexcopter btw 🙂 Noisier than some mini-quads, but still lots of fun.

Better get those "dangerous drones" registered, and yourself licensed, or Krampus Obama will come after you.

Yes, this comment is solely for the benefit of the American viewers.

Nice! I wonder if they'd still fly if you removed a rotor -or do you need an octocopter for that?

I fear the gears in the big one will strip soon (for example if you manage to catch something in the guards and block a prop). The thing is pretty much done then.
