Hey, Julian, I had a fantastic idea for you. I was trying to find one of your USB charger doctors that could test a pack's total capacity and store the data.. but I thought maybe I could use my Turnigy battery charger for it. And you can! You just need to find a way to adapt a USB connector into dual banana plugs and use the NiMH discharge mode. Seems to work fine!
If you want handy app with usb connector standards and many others (pretty usefull to have it handy), check ElectroDroid on GoogleAppStore and download it to your tablet ๐
I just order usb 3 cords this morning wondering how they were different. thought maybe it was a scam but you my friend have just cleared things up in a most timely manner. Thank you.
the USB 3 plug (male) is longer because the springs in the back take more space than not having them. the female socket does not have to be deeper, as the plug does not go in fully.
Be extremely careful when you connect a USB 3.0 male plug in a USB 2.0 female socket. The deeper pins of the male USB 3.0 create some grip on the USB 2.0 plastic tab and it increase your chances of breaking it out. It happened to me twice.

Sockets aren't necessarily longer. I don't really understand why you called this video USB Uncertainty. What is uncertain? ๐
