my gripe is universal, why do manufactures refer temperatures degrees C, i thought there was C or F please explain thank you.
Is there any way you could test the capacity of the batteries also?
How much are quality 18650-batteries? I bought some fake ones just to see what capacity to expect from cheap/fake batteries and it was totally a waste of time and money.

Hmm perhaps Fenix UC35 or efficient AA Zebralight SC5? I already got 3 Thrunites, some Olights, a 4sevens and a Fenix but it is always a good idea to buy another just incase all of the other ones break at once or something.

I have two suggestions:
1. Drop it when NOT encased in ice (the ice may dampen the shock).
2. Test the output with a lumens meter.
