Nasty wind-up clock radio whose DC generator had failed, torn down for our delight. Dispite my best efforts, this contraption refused to die.

When you ripped it open like that I laughed so hard my sides hurt. That was great
Hmmm the Bush name says it all, a guarantee for inferior quality garbage. That really is quite disgusting and a lesson in manufacturing something to fail.
ROFL, seeing the way that radio was built, makes my stomach turn. That is a typical Chinese made radio. Gone are the days of the high quality Japanese electronic devices. This day and age allot of stuff is built with the intention of throwing it away sadly. :/
I'm just wondering, have you seen them 3 way extension leads at poundland it would be good to see them safety tested.
You are such a bully. LOL. Very entertaining.

Haha! "That's done it!" Brilliant!
I would have saved the screws and the crank.
You had me in stitches throughout this video! 🙂 Love your sense of curiosity and humor! On the one hand, I might have tried to salvage some of the parts of this thing, but there really is no point in it if it's just going to take up space.
Cheers from Chicago.
40mah on 2/3 AA
On a single AA I have 2200 mah
Even on my stereo whe I tore it down it had a normal side of the cicuit board and a prehistoric side
THAT'S DONE IT! Priceless! 🙂
Hi I remember when Bush was a quality build.
Get yourself a present, a set of Wickes Precision Screwdrivers!
battery looks like an old analogue cordless telephone battery
well that "dynamo" which was just a gear motor could be used as a big servo or what ever else. about the only useful bit in the whole mess
Should be easy enough to replace bulb with several leds…
