I found it better to glue the Helping Hands to a piece of MDF; that makes it a lot more stable. By the way, all the resistors ought to follow the same way. Nice video — what does the board actually do?
Just got a component Kit from my ET lab class and im looking at it like its some foreign object lol , hope its as easy as you explained cause you did an amazing job .
I hate resister with extra bands,I never no who h end to use,I bought a scr meter to tell me the value,I don't have all my colors mesmerized anyways ,and my meter test most components anyways.I guess the old days of kit building are long gone.now its smd kits ,which I am trying to learn, any other old timers out there
I love it when I can get a well spaced board kit ,make soldering Easyer but they are hard to find.but I do love your kit building videos,it helps me pick out what kits I want to do.and which ones I don't want to do I try to stay away from smd kits

hi J I…
wow that is so many electronic component parts
electronic porn, I love it
I just splay the legs of discrete components. I only use Bluetak where I cannot do that. I find splaying faster and easier.

Uh, you do know you can just bend the leads of those diodes, right?
Solder wire manufacturer, diameter, packaging, Sir?

i usually just bend the legs outwards by a couple degrees on the back. works like a treat.
Putting those resistors the opposite way round has set off my OCD damn you 😛
