Missing an update to this video, is there any? Have you had any chance to try this one out more? I searched your channel feed but couldn't find anything more.

Hope you can do some more testing and reflashing perhaps. I'm thinking of getting a clone like you, just wondering if its worth it. Might be if you have any more video material on it =)

    Thanks!

I was trying to read the Rob B comment that you showed in the video, but it looks like it was edited and the very useful and informative info is not available to us.
Is there anyway to give us access to what he said ?

You should run the video overlay chip with 5volt supplied by soldering the two pads on the board And don't run the 12 volts in… the overlay chip will not heat up as much.and you will get a longer life out of your board…

4 cheap motors for <7ukp each ay 1100kv ish etc, 4 cheap 8 inch props, some bits of wood or bamboo and duck tape, (I went with plywood, it was doing nothing) any old 3s/4s 3000mah+ battery,  cheap board like a 25 quid crius all in on + a 10 quid gps reciver, 4 20amp motor controllers for <10 quid each.

cheap setup. crash as often as yo want and replace the bamboo for pennys.

Oh and a cheap 9xr 8channel radio set, good as any expensive one if you ignore the plastic build quality.

and when you decide to go better, you can recycle the parts into the new build.

Dont let people say you need 'quality' etc, theres a lot of emperors new clothes in any group of hobbyists….. The best kit is homemade, you learn, you dont when you buy…
