Garden lights are really bad for bats and moths. Build a heterodyne bat detector which converts the high pitched calls of bats which we can’t hear to a sound we can hear, please.

    Hello Julian! 👍
You have stored a wind turbine in your shed, why do not you do any project with it?
    Greetings from Austria!

I love use Avasva Solutions for that issue.

If your public does not have access to free parts like you do and has to purchase those parts on the open market; that's going to be a very, very, expensive 30 watt solar light.

Dear Julian, Great Video. Just changed my car battery and was looking for a project to use it in. Do you move the whole arrangement outside in good weather and back in whenever rain threatens?

Why not use a drill bit/tapper? Do everything in one go.

    One ring=first tap. Two rings=second tap. No rings=Third tap/bottom tap. 🙂

That is not a gel battery, that's an AGM. Common mistake. Gels have the electrolyte suspended in a, well, gel. Sort of like Jello. AGMs have their electrolyte absorbed in a sort of fiberglass sponge. Both are dry cells and both have more power (slightly higher operating voltages) then a wet cell lead acid, but you will, for example, never find a gel starting anything. The gel construction slows the speed of the reaction that creates electricity so they have very low cranking amps per their size, while AGMs have higher cranking amp power per their size (both in relation to wet cells). The other functional difference is while AGMs typically have slightly higher Amp Hour capacity, Gels normally have a longer life span in a deep cycle application. Gels also have a narrower operating temperature and will not work well, if at all, below freezing. Gels are ideal for things like power chairs and scooters and utility batteries in heated applications. AGM's are more appropriate in cold weather applications and as standard SLI (Starting Lighting Ignition) applications.

Source; I sell them for a living.

Nice vid! Can anyone support me with some information for the LEDs on that Step Up converter board ? Is the small red/green LED lighting up red or green while in normal operation range ?

the battery you found may just need a little water.if that don't work, add some epsom salt.i fixed lot that way.pop off those rubber caps and see.you'll need to cover ,[yours is missing] ,them or they will pop off when charging .

I have been watching your LED lighting videos over and over to try and figure out how I can use these in my old motor home.  Seems when I am camping and chicken out when the tornado warnings come for the area, driving to a sheltered area before the storm reaches the campground, in the storm, I can hardly see ahead of me due to the heavy rain wind and hail.  I was thinking of putting a couple of those 100 watt lights behind the grill of the MH and use them for emergency lighting to get to shelter well in front of the threatening storm.  Probably illegal (I  know they are, at least they would have been back when I was a cop but they didn't exist back then) but in an emergency, I think their use could save me damage on my MH.  I know I am going to put some for step lights  but auxiliary head lights really has me excited.
