Using the Dual Complementary Opto-Isolator (DCOI) MOSFET driver to interface a microcontroller with high-side and low-side, N channel and P channel MOSFETs.

Will a bootstrap circuit work if the load is a power LED? In the description you say the filament lamp is used a charging path.
Could the DCOI be used with a 3.3v microcontroller? Maybe the the two red LED's would need to be replaced with ordinary silicon diodes?
Thanks Julian. Very clear. I like the way you demonstrate why some circuits don’t work and then you provide the solution
I've watched hundreds of videos, read a ton of books and experimented a lot with MOSFETs, but couldn't for the life of me understand how to use them properly. Your series of videos literally ENLIGHTENED me. Keep up the awesome work!
Could you make a video about mosfet complimentary pairs, H-bridges and how to drive them? You could make it understandable and there's no good video about the subject.
Ive been gathering info on how to build a prower H bridge..!! The only problem is i dont have access to P channel mosfets.. the stores here are lazy bastards soo.. i thought of why not use the N channel.. with this configuration i think there is hope.. i know its not gonna be easy.
Ps: I was gonna subscribe but i found that i was already subbed years ago xD great video
This is the Holy Grail….
Good morning all… Yes – Off course it can
I replaced the LED's with signal diodes and it works with 3.3V. Will this circuit work for the PWM5 ?
Hi Julian
What about a ESP32 which uses 3.3V ? Will this circuit still work ?
Andries
I just watched all 6 in this series. I've watched about 20 hours of YouTube and forum reading to understand these little mosfets. Your series culminated in all the ideas coming together in one clear and concise way… and I don't have to sit for two hours if I want to rewatch one of the stages. Thank you Ssoooo much. SUBSCRIBING AND RINGING THAT BELL!
Do you have a tutorial on selecting the right mosfet for the task? The datasheet ratings are a little overwhelming since half of them are for max rating with infinite heatsink.
Thanks again. As a newbie with no electrical experience outside of wiring 12v connections in my boat, I can say you are awesome at teaching!!!
Thank you very much !!
Very good, Brother. Boost converter can simplify this circuit !. Excellent invention
