Taking it a bit further, suppose that you wanted to dim high power LEDs via PWM from the Arduino, how would you wire it? Wire MOSFETs in series with the LED drivers and drive the gates from the Arduino's PWM output pins?
I used the PT4115 to drive a 10W led. But I used it to dim the LED. Pin 8 is the dim pin also the enable disable pin. The dimming of the led is fairly easy bacuse you only have to use a PWM signal to dim the led.
Hi , Julian Ilett I've been interested in building a 100W LED pannel made out of 33x3W LEDs. In your channel I found some videos related to the topic but I still don't know which LED driver to use, how to connect the LEDs (parallel or series) and how many of them per row, etc. I'd really appreciate a short answer since I'm afraid to burn something.
I do the same when requiring parts, I'll buy a few from the UK then buy in bulk from China. As long as you have some decent sellers you can't go wrong. I must have saved hundreds doing it this way.
Hello Julian. I just stumbled upon this, and i was wondering what optoisolators you use there in minute 2. Can you specify please?

Love your work, Very interesting.
"Half expecting it to go up in flames"… LOL.
Great job on the build Julian, I like it.
