There are lots of different versions of this wireless remote control relay system on eBay. From single channel units up to 12 channels on a single unit. The relay board takes 12 volts in and there's a 5 volt regulator to supply the wireless receiver and decoder chip. There a 3 flavours of decoder chip; M momentary, L latching and T toggle.

Can I control 4 different single channel relays with a single 4 button remote control ?
You might have figured out by now, nearly 6 years later, but I think you need to reset the board for use with the other remote. I have a similar 4 channel relay board and the relays would close in quite strange combinations. Powering up the board with the learn-button pressed down until the programming diode stopped blinking took care of that, and I also learned that my board had several different modes to choose from; momentary, latching and so on, depending on how you reboot it. That wasn't perfectly clear from the sparse instructions the seller provided.
Might be fun to use the momentary one with servos for each channel in a kind of a step by step robotic arm or a working crane in a model railroad set

Is it safe to hook up a 12 volt relay to my computer as a wireless power switch. If so, how would I go about installing it?
I presume if you alter the address/channel on th ereceiver board… you also have to do something like that in the transmitter

change the receiver part of the pcb to a hetrodyne type and you will get super range. The regenerative receiver module is junk

What's the range on that thing? I've purchased a lot of units from China only to be very disappointed with the range. I don't live in a castle but I'd like to be able to switch stuff from room to room, all the ones I've tested require a constant good signal and causes the relay to switch on and off rapidly.
