Thanks for the detailed review, I watched your review on the Allpowers 700w power generator also and will more likely buy the Allpowers over the Bluetti as the Allpowers has the USB-C charging option so I can charge from a 40w turbine and run a 400w oil heater

Awesome sauce. I'm finally getting some understanding ☺️

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars KD0CAC says:

    It's not a generator !

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ELBERTO says:

Do you plan to use this as your main power provider for the solar shed? It could replace all your outdoor batteries and stay topped up from solar and mains.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Landrew0 says:

Why do you call it a generator?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars akhurash says:

I find all the USB outputs, including a PD redundant due to having the AC output. I guess it’s convenient to have them but if those are removed, I wonder how much lower than they price it at.

At this price tag, also curious about the quality of AC inverter.

This is an interesting project for me because I have designed DC to AC power inverters for automotive use and now work for an automotive battery manufacturer. Two of my last work projects in one.

Battery pack with built in inverter yes/ Generator? Noway. The only thing this generate is confusion with its incorrect naming.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve Perry says:

In Part 2, Julian opens it and finds it uses ebay Chinese moduals and a stack of phone batterys 🙂

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve Perry says:

    It's NOT a generator !
What ever happed to all the temporary traffic light generators, get one and run it on used chip shop oil 🙂

You really have to want one at that price……out of the price range of most of us

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Adrian Rabbage says:

Cool bit of kit, pricey though!

It's cool you get free stuff and all but i'm not here to see multi-thousand dollar equipment. I'm here to see the cheap crap that is still good enough for the task. Since it's not the first video like this and in other videos sponsor merch starts to take all of the room on your workbench i'll just go ahead and find someone elses videos to watch. Have a nice YT career! 🙂

Do lion cells really give 90% rated capacity with cell voltage between 3.4 and 4.12 ?
I'll test my 18650 battery and report back. If the pro's use these limits, it might be useful info.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Louis Poche' says:

It really bugs me when manufacturers call these things generators…. they don't "generate" anything.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Zadster says:

I hope this is a sponsored product… Because if not, they really saw you coming. This sort of money would buy you a fantastic "real" petrol fuelled generator and a stack of batteries / inverter. Or put all the lot together, add wheels and just call it a car.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rambozo Clown says:

I don't think it has enough options.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robin Vince says:

A couple of interesting tests to try would be: (1) Is there any momentary dropout if the mains dies while using it as a UPS, and (2) How accurate is its mains output in terms of voltage, frequency, and sinewave purity. It sounds like a nice unit, but a bit pricey.
