For about £3 (including postage) you can buy this LED voltmeter which had 2 decimal places of accuracy. It measures from 0v up to 33 volts full scale and can be powered from any voltage source from 4.5v up to 30v.

Hi. These kinds of voltmeters need a powersource (like 0.3V). So when I plug it in my system I need to add 0.3V to my readings. Are there any kinds of these voltmeters which has it's own power source (like a coin battery or such) ???

No. When you buy stuff from China you rarely get any paperwork at all. Also, the schematic wouldn't be a lot of use without the firmware.

Maybe by any chance you got a schematic with this voltmeter when you bought it? 🙂

I know what you mean. I want to make a large Watt meter (volts x amps) on an LED dot matrix (16 x 64 at least) for a bicycle generator project.

I too have seen these on EBay. But i didn't see a clear way of mounting them. How easy or difficult are these to mount into a box or panel?
