It is not broken, you only broke the case. It can still be used.
Hello, i have a Philips hue smart gu10 that just failed After only 15 days of use. Any Idea what could have caused that ?
Put it in a box wire it up add sum flowers ๐ ๐ ๐
@Julian Ilett are there any problems with this led bulb? What was the reason? Fuse? Greatz Bridge? Capacitors? Thanks!
How many volts wast it to the LED board ?
What makes me feel uneasy, is such powerful computer utilised in such a manner inside a poorly built light bulb… I carefully pondered computer power vs. the application all my professional life. How things have changed – I can't accept this level of utilitarianism.
Thanks for the video…
i turned adblock off and gotten 2 ads, i let them run fully while doing stuff on other monitor
so you can buy another one
You can reuse the parts. I did this with 3 Ikea bulbs, that are now lightening my 3D printer. A nice Aluminium Base for the LEDs build, a LED Driver from eBay added and the 3 bulbs in series then operated at 24v with the ability to dim the light with 3.3v from my duet3D printer-board…
Capacitive dropper with a transformer?
Chop the GU10 connectors off, attach a suitable plug and wire to it, pot up the back end to make it safe again, superglue the broken bit from the side on, re-glue the lens back on, and it'll live again… use it on the solar shed with your powerpacks… Problem solved! Nice video btw ๐
How much goo fits in a goo-10?
Taking Apart is easy! Putting it back together and making it safe and usable takes great skill. ( Or just tape it together and put it in a pickle jar for ambience lighting in the shed )
Just for giggles, I pointed my phone at the QR code. I don't suppose it's "any secrets" being given away, but it decoded as text "CBBE08YBP0BCF7". Based on a quick search, a ZIGBEE ID is an 8-byte (16 hexadecimal characters) number, and that's 14 characters, some of which are emphatically not valid hex, so it aint that.
rubbish bulb. where is the right to repair?
It will still work if you repurpose it some what.
I understand the y t algo likes comments… I imagine the pieces of that light dangling from the ceiling in the shed. Maybe you can feed it D.C. directly and bypass the A.C. bits?
