Faulty Poundland frog repaired by removing a solder blob from the PCB. Also, some tests to see if different voltages affect the pitch of the audio playback.

A light isn’t just going to sensor it
brilliant haha
Wow, the silicon chip is not even in a package but under a blob of epoxy resin or something to save some cost. Is the solder even using lead I wonder!
Using that 'frog' technology could the gubbins from it be used to trigger something more substantial such as a PIR light?
Typical Poundland Chinajunk, we got one, it died not long afterwards. Just like most of their rubbish ! Mind you, I never opened it up to check why, well to be honest they're usually beyond salvation.
Was that "crunchy frog?"
Ripit, ripit!
Wasn't it Galvani instead of Volta ?
I've just found the lovechild of Ashens and BigClive
Time to ribbit apart!
Having that near an entryway would be a good way to test how often I have a hammer with me when passing by.
Dog ate mine
Of course, over-volting Mr.Frog would have made him croak, but in different sense !!!
Not been lucky with these. 2 chewed up by foxes, No.3 'drowned' in pond (also suspect fox!) – all worked originally 'out of the pack', but at least I have 2 spare 'innards'!
the component values are printed on the circuit board, but 1 of the 3 resistors has a different value to what is says on the board, theres a 68k and a 10M in the right places, but where it looks like there should be another 68k they have a 3.3M
