For just 55p, this DC/DC boost converter with a 5V output is good value. It produces enough output power to light a red LED with just 100mV on its input.

Great Video!
I would like to connect 3x AAA Batteries witch supplies in sum 4.5V and consuming the 5V Out for Arduino and UltraSonicSensor. My Arduiono should read data every 10 Minutes and deep sleeping between reading data. In deep sleep mode, the Arudino is consuming 0.15mA. Thats low enough for for a long use of batteries. Does the board have a standby current without or with less load on output? Best regards!
Hello can I use this circuit on 3 watt led?
I connected output of the module with 6v AA cell holder in parallel ,will it effect the converter if I use AA cell supply and no input in the converter?
In short what if I attach 6v supply to the output of the converter module
In same polarity and also tell me for opposite polarity also.
The best review sir..
What mean D- and D+ pins on this module?
I have on order some similar modules that have a USB connector, figuring to use them with an 18650 cell as a simple powerbank. We'll see what chip they're using and how useful they'll be for things like charing a phone, etc. when they get here, I guess.
Just ordered 2 on eBay for $0.90 USD, and they have the usb attached.
can i use it for 6v solar panel with 1watts?
