Dono anything about mining crypto maybe I should look into it. Sadly BTC is barely holding 19 k..so maybe mining machines could be found on the cheep

congrats! one day when you grow up a little bit even more and become more adult, you'll discover the "electric" vehicle scam

"Everyone piles in and it ends up not making anything."
That reminds me of the old scam where people promise to show you the "tricks/secrets banks use to make money" and once you've paid them, you either get nothing or you get worthless advice which the ordinary person can't follow.
The things you have to ask yourself are, if these people know these tricks then why are they sharing them, and why do they need money for sharing the tricks if the tricks make so much money?

Actually, the white noise from the fan might help some people sleep, as long as it's not too loud. Won't help Koreans though, they'll catch the Korean fan death.

My brother started getting interested in crytypocurrentsea mining a few months ago. I told him he's not going to make any money from it unless he's mining from excess solar. It's still more economical to run appliances during the day from the solar energy, and only mine when instead of exporting the excess energy for a pittance.

He should've got his next electricity bill by now, so I should ask him if it was worth it.

They're 100% efficient as resistive space heaters. If you use them to heat your home, the crypto is a bonus!

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Martin Langteigen says:

Well- you could heat your house and recover some of the expense in crypto🤔 All depending on what your main heating energy source is…

So should we rename antminers to antiminers now?

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Norton says:

You are making more money, definitely saving money from that investment on your roof.
Using our existing Fusion Reactor. In its correct operating environment, we've always had.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars spaz says:

Thanks for the look! Will you still make a loss through inflation, if extrapolated out a reasonable time duration? Not condoning or discouraging anything, just curious. Also it can help heat your home if anything 🙂

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars david mcclare says:

hi is it possible to use those miner's for anything else eg running a ai algorithm or are they just e-waste

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ecospider5 says:

If you have solar and your power company only pays you $0.02 for your excess energy you can dump that energy into cripto mining and make money.

Yes you can also put that energy into batteries but battery setups are much more expensive than some used miners.

    So unplug the jukebox

And do us all a favour

    That music's lost its taste

    So try another flavour –

Ant music La La…….🎶🎶🎶 Oh Ant Miners, my mistake, goodness me I was sucked back to the early eighties there for a moment….Every little helps…cheers.

Instresting also they run the hash chips in series so they only need to go from 12v down to 8 v with then 8 chips running in series all on the same clock cycle

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Embedded Hobbyist says:

Still not sure why you would want to mine for ants, on my drive you would just need a hover to collect 1000's of them. 😉
