where do you get all this money to buy gadgets?

Can the electronics in the batt packs be bought separately? I would like to have something like that to add to my 7s packs..

How do you like that isdt T8??? I'm thinking of getting one. So I can charge a 7s bank from a 24v alternator. Mostly in sunless days. When there is no solar power. Does it get hot when pushed hard for long periods of time??? Thanks Julian for awesome videos!!!!

Julian, have you seen any of these for 10S or 14S batteries (ebike)? The largest I've seen is for 8S batteries.

I wonder if Charsoon is using any of the tech from Barsoom. Does the Princess know?

Nice toy but man 100 bucks US for a lipo charger, unless a fellow is a professional photographer with a very nice quad-copter, seems a bit to many bucks. That said, I am well below the average income here in the USA, and need to sit down for a high pressure meeting with my good wife of 49 years before spending much over 20 bucks, even a monthly total of over 20 bucks brings the wrath of her pen upon me. Never used to be that way till I was put on mandatory retirement and my monthly income cut in half. There I go again, poor poor pitiful me. Nice video though nice to see what is out there, and how well it works.

Hi Julian, I want to create a 12 to 18v battery pack using lithium cells, say 3×4.2v (12.6v Max). X4 packs in parallel (3000mah per pack) making approx. 12000mah pack. Can you tell me what the best way of charging this packwould be and best way of protecting it with say a bms board? Much appreciated. Look forward to your reply.

Do this batteries then have protection circuit built in to prevent overdischarge/overcharge/overcurrent like mobile phone/laptop batteries?
Does it balance itself (without balance leads connected) or at least cut power/disconnect itself if it is way off balance (one of cells overvolt) while charging?
I'm gonna be naging at all RC/hobby shops again… in one of shopping centers they call me Battery raider (coz i come with big backpack and empty whole used battery bin into it, to get mostly full alkalines, 'bout 1 in 20 or 30 is full – 1.6+V, but there are other goodies too, fairly new smartpones with bad battery or broken connectors etc. and then bring the empty ones back after few hours)

    80C x 1.1Aย – jikes, that is quite a lot of current

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lyra Blood says:

No way this lipo would survive over 40c. Top of the line lipos can deliver 65c or 75c

    Teardown of battery please ๐Ÿ˜€

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dedmen Miller says:

Why is the capacity so low? Even my Phone has 1650mAh and the battery fits into my palm and is about 3mm thick.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tonkis says:

Can you do an updated video of your solar setup? wiring, batteries etc?
