Unboxing and first look at the Ming He VAC-1030A Wireless Power Meter.
It displays voltage, current and power on a colour LCD. It has cumulative (Amp hours, Watt hours, time) indicators and numerous over and under voltage and current protection cutouts.
The display unit communicates wirelessly with the monitoring module.

I know this is 5 years old.. What is the max DC voltage for the relay? (Not coil but the contacts)

I'd be worried about internal arc flash RAPIDLY wearing that relay (and even a contactor at >60VDC and 30A) but it might suffice for lead acid

I am glad to see you test our product. The battery monitor has a new product KG140F. I hope to get your evaluation.

I realize that this video is 4 years old now but I still see these things on eBay, I was wondering if you had selected the screen option to stay off! Would it light up when one of it's protections are tripped?
That would be great in a situation where the meter is inside the house where you don't want it on all the time! You are more likely to see it in protection mode if it's litten up but stays off when everything is ok… I might have to get one of these…

The off state, seems a lot of cool useful things are thought up, planned out, designed, then the penny-pinching bean counters, screw it up for the end users, seems they still make a decent product, but 30 amps? Seems 100a or 300amps would be more useful, or atleast a option for external shunt and contactor, this could be useful for small solar systems, or small wind turbines, maybe a low powered ebike? 30 amps is almost useless for any vehicle, I guess it would need to be 72v plus, because you would want it to stay well below the max rating. 15 amps at 60 or 72-96v maybe?

I got something similar, it has a 300amp shunt, and provisions for a contactor, possibly from the same company,

No dice, seems both links and units on Ebay whichever search combo comes up empty.
If somebody with better eBay Kung Fu search skills, can get better result, you welcome to share or deliver info if it is discontinued for fx a new better unit .

If it turns off for low voltage protection, will it turn back on on it's own after the voltage rises?
