A first look at the Turnigy Accucell-8150 from Hobbyking. This charger/discharger is typically used for field charging of radio controlled models. As you can see, I'm still getting to grips with the rather confusing menu structure.

Maybe you got the fake one…

The charger maintains voltage at 14.7 volts and drops the charging current until it reaches zero, then it terminates.
If you discharge your small battery some and the charge it at something like 1 or 2 amps, you'll see what it does more clearly.

To change Nimh/Nicd to AUTO mode,ย Each mode can be switched by pressing <Inc> and <Dec> button simultaneously when the current field is blinking.

Lithium ION battery is a cluster name for all lithium based battery that is mineral based and around 3.6V, there is like 20 different types, but they all behave kind of similar. But they do varie a fraction of a volt between different types. Lithium polymer is kind of part of the Litium ion cluster of batteries types, but because they are more sensitive they are marked diffrently. Also, they use a synthetic based electrolyte.

that unit is the same as the SkyRC iMax B6 (copy version (aka counterfeit) not the real one) I been trying to get on Ebay. I found a place that has the iMax 6 Mini which is a genuine SkyRC unit and its a 6A vs 5A for the original iMax B6. I have gotten 2 counterfeit units in the last two weeks ย one only would charge my SLA batteries and almost damaged a set of Li-Po batteries. the current went up high. ย

Very simialar specifications to my Imax B8 chargers which I use with my Quadcopter gear. I believe that my ones are the non-fake ones and they do have the mini USB port presented on the side. The use of the USB port seems to be very thinly documented.
