Follow the money. You'll find that "inflation" is, let's say, coincident with companies reporting record profits. When one goes to the trough to get fat, they all know they can too.
When the 10 largest oil companies report Q1'22 profits of $93M (compared to $3B in Q1'20), that's not "inflation" causing it, it's greed.
If you have a nicely designed PV solar charger system… You could pay it back in no-time at 50c/kWh!
