Need a stick, drones plus swipe controls suck like lollypops.
If you want to buy a drone that practically fly’s itself, get a DJI Mavic series drone. The mavic mini would be fine. They are probably the most stable easy to fly drones you can buy for a reasonable price. The 4k camera is wonderful. Fully stabilized on a 3 point gimbal.
You might be better off with a kite!

This hopefully is a very good example of what not to do, and what not to buy if you have no experience flying drones. A couple of times, you mentioned we arent quite there yet, well, we are, just not on the low-end price range yet 🙂 For example, the DJI Spark will do it, the DJI Mavic will also do it. You can't expect a cheap drone to perform the same way as these though 🙂 I have developed a passion for drones (tricopters and micro quads in particular), and I do fly , crash and repair them, and I can tell you that shops like bangood are only good for the parts, and even then, if you select any less than the more expensive parts, when you are building one yourself, then you are guaranteed a crash 😀

I think those thrown in the air drone do exists, but not on this price. I agree with some of the comments that it puts up a decent show for the money. Do a second review outdoors. This would be ideal to inspect your solar panels on the roof, check your gutters and so on. If you can send it up high and point the camera down that smallish movement we seen at the end of the video would almost go down to zero. A friend of mine has a DJI Mavic Air. I have seen that flying. It has all the bells and whistles but for 8x the price.

The beeps are actually a lost quad alarm. You rip in the bushes and manage to mangle it or just goes failsafe and, in lack of a proper buzzer or as a neat backup, the motors will beep for you to be able to find it in the shrubs.
Quite efficient at that, thanks to BLHeli devs. The default is to trigger the alarm in 10 minutes of idling (0 throttle signal) but I have mine on one minute.
It's not often but when I loose a quad this saves me hours of searching.
Must be nice to receive your orders from bangood, they ripped me off twice already.
