Am I the pear in the basket of apples, not noticing your actual opening of the transparent padlock, after showing the steps that are supposed to show that result? I'm flabbergasted. Isn't that the whole point of demonstrating the unlocking SHOWING UP?!
My lockpicking set is this one: "DANIU Transparent Practice Padlock with 12pcs Unlocking Lock Picks Set Key Extractor Too". The transparent padlock in my set has 7 horizontal coils on the left, not 8 as in yours, but that doesn't seem to play a role as far as I can understand all of this so far.
I've tried to follow what you show in the video, using the tools which are closest to the form of yours, used in the instructions. I can move the first 6 horizontal coils out of the way, away from the central vertical plug , but the 7th isn't accessible so far. I think I need to study a bit more, also other instruction videos with this topic. It's a whole new world for me. Will I be able to roam the city at night in my tight black outfit, climbing the rainpipes and ivy-grown walls of homes with innocent sleeping residents? 😁

Nice! I had the same lock and a different 9-piece set. I took a rounded hook likes yours with the tensor, fuilt them all loose till the 4th pin, a little wiggle and magic. You should do more clear locks from that set
i have the same lock! it took me 30 minutes to open it and i dont know how, or why, it did! you make it look so simple. i can not find the pins, count how many, or feel how tight they are. i just poke at the pins with the pick. i have opened a kwickset the same way in 30 minutes. im a 30 minute person it appears
