Very interesting, I am looking for a board that can charge my 45 amp lithium iron battery for my Volkswagen camper house battery while driving using alternator power to supplement my 100 watt solar charger. The house battery Powers a small norcold refrigerator that draws between 2 and 2 1/2 amps at 13 volts with approximately 30% duty cycle. also phone and tablet charging. Preferably I'd like to charge to 13.7 Volts and taper off the amperage to 0A to increase the batter's cycle life. What would you recommend.

Hi. I wld like to ask something but i dont know if u r interested in comments of ur videos but i ll give a try ; we see that there are XLSemi Buck chips on both boards whic is very obvious to see in Buck Conv. boards. If So then what Mosfet and Massive diode does in DP30v5a realy? Why need?

Note the size of the main inductor ! One is much larger and uses much heavier gauge wire.
What is the operating frequency of each ?

Or should I use a better rectified power supply to power this device?

In fact DROK product was designed earlier than RD DP30V5A-L. black PCB was designed and produced by other factory. drok conpany ask them design this , along selling, there are many many problem for black PCB, so DROK company can't endure such so many problem. so DROK company ask me to design a new one to replace black PCB . so we refer the request drok gave me and RD DP30V5A-L was born. so now you know the difference between them
you can go to DROK home page, you can find one module , it is same with RD DP30V5A-L , only difference is than that one has black PCB . this is the story about the two products.
I purchased a Drok after watching one of your older videos. I think it is really really nice.
