You don't use a slotted hole just one that has a large enough diameter
"not sure what these are, but says spring clamp terminal" – mmmm lol
Those FePO4s will come in >560mA. Still very handy.
FePO4… I hadn't noticed before but mine do have that under "700mAh", but it is correct under the brand name.
What an obscene profile on that "blade" pin!
I hope we don't see anything ordered from GearBest anymore.
Julian yesterday I received my LiPo pouch cell in a speedboat 🙂 (2 plastic halves making up a speedboat probably coming from a build-it-yourself modelling set)
I know you've a solution, but could you mount the phono socket upside down, glue it on , and/ or drill a hole each side to take a cable tie.
Then use 2 short leads to connect it to the pcb.
Lithium battery can't be sold easily in Europe and Japan, because of new stupid regulations.
Wow, for some reason YouTube hasn't been putting your vids on my homepage. Glad to see you're still doing these!!
I got some small Cherry MX-style switch breakout boards made by JLBPCB. I just used the panallizer on the site. Was able to fit 30 on each board, if I recall correctly, and that's with the usual order of ten boards. Very economical, and made soldering them up before breaking them very easy! For your daughter boards, I'd just watch out the jacks can be soldered all on the full panel, if you can help it, just to speed things up.
Julian, you do not need to make a slotted hole for the phonos, just do a standard round big enough across for the pin to fit – the solder will fill it in….
I just received my LiFePO4 cells and a charger I bought last month from Soshine Official Store in AliExpress. No weird remotes to be seen. Only those nice cardboard boxes. The packing slip said "calculator" though.
Love your post bag videos as always
those springy things are so much better than the screw ones. you need three hands for those wich you dont have when standing on a ladder trying to mount a lamp to the ceiling
"it's time forrrr postbaaaag" in faux romanian accent lol
I got mine in torch lights. Same reason.
