That last item sounds like a "kit" of several parts they needed to get rid of. 😄

I hope "Alice" is still good to you. 🙂 (If anyone is up in arms, XMOS would be blasphemy). Think about it.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone.

Cheerio to you too, sir. 🙂 Hope you are well for the Holiday Season (ChristMOS) and the New Year. 2019. Wow.
Carry on, Good Chap! (You can tell I'm from the USA, huh). You are great. I've got great things to say about Alice. Awesome.

Just an FYI.   Your Ryobi Tek 4 DVM's will only read AC voltage accurately between 40HZ – 400HZ. Check the Specs. Most DVM's will only read AC voltage accurately between that frequency range. 50hz for Europe, 60HZ for US and 400hz for military gear. That is most likely the reason you are getting such low readings on the output of the DC to AC module with your DVM's.

JULIAN!!! You've done it this time… darn near literally rolling on the floor laughing when you started measuring that DC -> AC module. AC doesn't have a ground like DC does! Think of your mains – ground is just earth, to protect the case. You should have been measuring the two outer AC connections with the one DVM set to AC. And your scope, I expect you would just connect one probe to one AC terminal, and the other to ground, and changed your coupling to AC, and you'd get your AC sine wave. And you were cheated on those PCBs… the eBay ones come with 2x1k, 2x10k, and 2x3k… just to confuse 😉

Oh, and as far as the soldering goes… I'd be looking for some different solder – some of the cheap 60/40 solder isn't really 60/40, or cheaps out on the flux.
