lol i used that usb meter to monitor 2 x 26650s in series works a treat lol
be careful with them cables with no switch on the current monitor gets hot when drawing 2amp probably melt after a bit especially the type c cables lol

There is actually another reason as to buy those powerbanks – if you have a load of discharged 18650s, just pop them in and recharge them all up via the micro usb!
