I have a 5v usb controller with 3 pins. Can use it with these WS2811s? The wire connnected on the bulbs are 3 pins but the end got 4 pins.

You appear to have an RGB controller but a string of RGBW LEDs. That would explain the difference in the number of connector wires.
Destroy the watch by drilling it

Ordered myself a string of these with the wonky controller (and a USB DC adapter) and am looking forward to the shiny colored lights any day now.

Those hand held "controllers" are notorious for lasting …… about 1 week.
Frankly I can't see any application other than amusing the grandchildren.
