Thanks Julian, I have one of the QD-188 power banks but you need to be careful as there is a manufacturing issue on the reverse of the board.
There is a glass diode of some kind close to the micro USB socket that can get broken by the plastic molding of the case.
This has unfortunately happened to mine after only a short time and I'm not sure what to replace the diode with.
If anyone has a clue please let me know, Thanks.

I have one of these QD 188 power banks but its got an issue.
There appears to be a manufacturing issue that may/will cause problems.
On the back of the board you will see what looks like a glass diode close to the micro usb IN charge socket.
When the unit is put together the plastic of the case puts excess pressure against that diode and can break it.
This has happened to my QD188, i'm not sure yet if its a diode for reverse protection,
a Zener diode to clamp the input or used for some other purpose.
What are your thoughts? as I can't read the value of this broken diode!!

WOW one of the photos in the manual looks a LOT like the old C=64
Shades of the long distant pass, that size plug on the end of microphones for the old Reel to Reel tape recorders we used in High School to record the life story of old ranchers and cowboys when I was a young man. I was never more fascinated then listening to their tales of life on the prairie, I sure hope that the school has converted our data to digital and have it protected for future students of history, because those old cowboys were in their 80's back then, and are now resting in peace under six feet of sod on the Green Hill that is our grave yard.
I got an qd 8184 but one port doest work anymore. And the voltage doesn't go higher then 1.3 ampere anymore.
I have no idea what might be wrong or how I can fix it.
Was looking for another 18650 battery case but didn't find an nice one yet.
The qd818 is to expensive i think :p.
Specially if it breaks down again in an year or so. ๐.
Anyway you have any suggestions?

I bought 3 of these from various sellers. I find the LCR part useless! WON'T show most of the Inductors I was hoping to find out their value. ALL 3 had the same problem. eerrrrrrr
