    called “green caps“

Wish I had seen this a few months back. I got a bunch of beading storage tubes to put resistors in, and it is a pain to pop the lids off those.

Would you have a list of good sellers for electronics components in eBay?

It will be helpful for us to quickly refer known sellers for components.

Hello, I like your store draws. PLEASE send me a link to the storage draws 😋

Generally speaking, should you use ceramics if you can find them high enough capacity, failing that, polyester, failing that, electrolytic?

Well shit, your videos have come around my way a few times. I guess it's time to subscribe.

SMT = Surface mount technology, not transistor.

it is a disgrace to make people to pay for special treatment-was going to sub, FORGET IT.people like this are ruining you tube.-you tube started out as a good thing.

Just as a tidbit, Polycarbonate was one of the few substances that could operate on high temperatures and high frequencies. It wasn't a trivial task finding a substitution after PC-film production was discontinued by the sole company manufacturing it and capacitor manufacturers had to adapt. But Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is found to be a reasonable alternative.

Ceramics have their own quirks and issues where they can't be used to replace just any capacitor technology available in all the applications.

    very nice parts filing system!

Managed to snag a pair of Ohmite "Little Devils" Carbon resistor organizer drawers, mostly still full, for the grand price of nuttin'!
There's something so nice about finally having a properly organized resistor selection, vs a box of bags.
I also recently got a binder with pouches and a bunch of ceramic capacitors in it. That's proven to be very useful as well!
Never scoff at organization! A label maker and an obscene number of Flambeau Storage Cabinets serve as some of my most used benchtop tools!

Polystyrene caps are brilliant in tuned circuits due to their stability.
