    if those resistors are 1 ohm each and in parallel, that's 0.25 ohms per cap. With 2.7v across that we get I=V/R=2.7/0.25=10.8 Amps! That's: Power=I^2 * R = 29.16 Watts…or 29.16/4=7.29W EACH! I have not worked much with SMT but I have felt the untouchable heating of well less than 10W dissipated in a 10W (or even 15W) wirewound resistor. Finally, when all the FETs are on, that's a grand total of 175W of radiated (wasted) heat (power).

    I wish all engineers would realize that center positive is the smart way to go. Especially with 12 volt devices designed to operate mobile in motor vehicles. I have a Ham handheld by Standard that has a center negative plug, the car adapter has no real protection, except for the fuse, of course but damn man the inside of a lot of vehicles still have a lot of steel built in, all of which carries the negative side of the power system so that little plug flopping around in the vehicle if you happen to unplug the little radio, and the sparks are really going to fly. Love the little radio except for that problem

    I can't find any good review videos about them, and on ebay they don't explain, how to use them.
