I'm sorry, but. Ive been watching way too long n that thumbnail is just sad.

    Good video, useful, thanks

I have a 240v-12V 2A Power Supply which turns on at 12V in INPUT and it delivers 12V 600mA at OUTPUT it is a transistor based SMPS it works nicely 🙂

When I go to Ebay all I see is high priced retail stuff. What's the site you use ?

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alex Stone says:

What happends if you plug the charging port into the boost converter ? Does it just waste power?

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stuart Hatto says:

Julian did you consider just using an ATX power supply for the vocoder project, I think it provides all the voltages you need and usually at quite high currents. Might even be cheaper than buying multiple power supply modules. They are generally very well designed and manufactured.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nanocosm says:

The capacitor across primary and secondary sides of the smps is for EMI suppression

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David B says:

Can you daisy-chain power delivery devices to expand capacity? Time to make some custom cables and wait for the smoke.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ches74 says:

Why not buy your Chinesium from AliExpress? Same stuff cheaper and usually arrives quickly.

Might those large copper areas on PCB for the vacuum cleaner battery not be for heat sinking? No doubt you'll find a workaround.

Again a very interesting video: thanks. Q: where to buy these 18560 connectors?? regards, Jan ( Netherlands)

    7 adverts… Wtf

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars douro20 says:

Isn't an STM32 a bit overkill for that USB-PD trigger application?

BTW the heat sink on that boost converter has the wrong tape on it…

Ads. Lots of ads. Not watching any more.

Hi, I'm here from the future and Julian's PostBarrell is my favorite series on YouTube. Robo-Julian's PostBunker just never captured the same magic.
