LOL – you have quite the collection of components. An idea for your next video could be organization and management of parts 🙂 I don't have quite as much as you do but I use a parts drawer which I have numbered each drawer and then use a spreadsheet to record what is in each drawer (rows correspond to drawer numbers). Once done, I can find any part by doing a text search of the spreadsheet. This could be extended of course for multiple containers. Easy to setup but then you have to go through all your components and sort them and enter the information which is time consuming but not nearly as time consuming as hunting for parts continuously.
Try hommous as the bait on your rat trap . Works well for me .
So much loot! Do you think those Clas Ohlson plastic boxes are ESD-dissipative? I have a couple too, but no components in them yet.
Julian, love all your videos. I would love to see you create a series of videos to create a vintage computer, explaining exactly what you are doing and components used so that an electronics noob like me could understand and create as well. All the videos that you have uploaded are so interesting, and you explain things so clearly, even I understand what's going on. Ben Heck has made videos where he builds a portable ZX Spectrum. Great idea, and the final product is great, but a lot of the process is skipped and not explained clearly, and some of the things he does explain in some detail are so obvious. I think you could do this better…… Thanks for your great uploads.

My "lab" looks much like yours except that I have more RF stuff and less of the Postbag stuff. I have been building sensitive RF linked water detectors out of window screen + Bounty paper towels + ebay water watchdog + ebay Arduino cheap relay trigger board + Honeywell RF door security sensor radioing to my security panel. For about $30 total in parts I get a phone call if my attic mounted water heater leaks. Cheers,
