In this video, I completely steal David Watts' idea of building an FM microphone kit... on a Sunday. Naturally, I asked David for his permission before doing this.

Watch the clipping wires, I've blown up a bench power supply that way. A lead managed to slip right through a vent hole and into the PCB inside. Boom!.. I recommend that you keep a finger in contact with the leads as you clip, just to dampen the energy a bit.

So if you put a jack instead of a microphone and plug it into a phone or something you can use a radio as a wireless speaker, right? Or make a pirate radio station.

I am absolutely loving the increasing frequency at which the kits from China are coming with Chinese or even zero instructions, adds a little bit more of a challenge 😂👍

The black wire was supposed to be 15cm long for maximum operation.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MOHAMAD GHOUL says:

    That's simple project and basic,
it doesn't need a trimmer and the coil has no need for winding, already on PCB.
And the low transmitting range is comfortable for home room distance.
Thank you for your spending efforts.
