    You're applying 36 volts instead of 34, be carefull because that LED it's giving  white-red light, and that's becuase it's burning out

    You mentioned the batteries have to be ni-cd batteries. Why can they not be li-ion? Ive got plenty of Ryobi 18v li-ion laying around but not ni-cd.
