    But after seeing your video's again after long while. I still wonder why you don't just buy a Labbench PSU? They are dirt cheap nowadays and not that bad either.

    thanks for this issue. i used a lamp as well as payload, on my b00st circuits. sometimes, it would help a little, while seeking on the web, if you could shortly put the target goal of a single project, in the description box.

    here, u may create 5-30 v out of 12v, regarding the consumption power over all. the clock of ur script on arduino would also help to enlight, as it is a little tricky, to raise the frequency above some khz, to hundrets of khz or mhz maybe.

    finding the proper coil and capacitor is another story, so probing and measurement over the different steps could guide one to the end of such thing.

    theres not really 12w on that bulb, your switching frequency is too low, the core gets saturated after lets say 10µs and the other 90µs of your 100µs pulse duration is just a dead short until the fet opens.

    Surely this demo would be more impressive if you boosted from a lower voltage (say 6v) when powering a 12v bulb rather than using an input of 12v for a 12v bulb!
