Oh my lord, there's a loud high-pitched noise all over the video, It's ringing in my ears even after stopping it. Please check your audio next time. This video actually hurts to listen to.

That boost mosfet is heating up more than the buck one, because the buck one is cutting the voltage multiple times a second and the boost one is shorting out the coil multiple times a second. Seems fair that shorting takes more power than cutting.

Is it possible to write some code with a target set by the manual and then have it chase that automatically? Perhaps an 5110 display to see how it does?
