Okay, Julian. I'm one of the biggest fan's of your. I learn a lot every day I watch your videos ๐Ÿ™‚
I keep reading a lot of comments that people are still interested in your PWM5 product. So here is my 2 cents…
Why don't you do a kickstarter? You already have the hardest part of the project done (design and schematics). Collect some money through a kickstarter, find a manufacturer in China or Malaysia that would manufacture and assembly the whole kit and deliver it to your kickstarter customers.
See how many units you'd need to build with your manufacturer (MOQ Minimum Order Quantity). Set it as a goal at kickstarter and off you go.
Not only this manufacturing and assembly procedures would be easier, but your sales would be guaranteed (no waiting for customers, customers would be waiting on your product) and your profit would be instantaneous (selling a thousand units on the spot).
On top of that, you could manufacture a bit extra and continue selling on eBay.
See how this plan works out and then do the same with MPPT controller.

Julian Ilettย Hi Julian how are you?? Your videos is amazing! I want to make my own product and I have some questions. I do hardware stuff. How I will get rights for an item and CE on the product?? For example I will use an lcd screen how I get rights to use it on my product and then I am able to resell it??My other question is about traveling to China to find manufactures to create my product. I can find manufactures online?? I make some research but itโ€™s difficult to find what I need. Thanks for keeping us excited with electronics videos !

When reading your website, you state that they're out of production. Are you making them again?

For the fun of it, get a wellerย TCP12V. It hooks straight to 12v, and the temperature is controlled by a magnetic tip

Kinda surprised you didn't use outdoor rated silicone caulk instead of hot glue. ย I would think that sitting out in the hot sun in some countries that see 120F+ temps every day may cause the glue to soften and flow over time. ย I assume you used high temp so maybe that is not an issue. ย Great to see a usable product developed and made all from home.

Great video. Rather disconcertingly just as you moved the fan into shot a cool breeze came through my study window as though I could feel your fan. Looking forward to the full series.
