When PBS was showing Are You Being Served every night after the news, I would say "thank heavens now for a half hour of sanity", that a what your videos do for me.

I thoroughly enjoy your You Tube channel. I was in England about four months ago and bought a big sheet of Blu Tack at Poundland. It's great! Thanks for introducing me to it!.
I thought your New Year's resolution might be to buy a pencil sharpener. Every time I see the point of your hand sharpened pencil being used to point out some detail, I think of my mother. She liked sharpening pencils by hand with a kitchen knife, and refused to buy a pencil sharpener for me and my siblings. Anyway keep up the interesting video output.
Why not use a mini tri-pod ?, or put the camera right side up and use the flip screen to see what you are shooting 😕

To be honest, sound from Nexus phone is much more clearer and more rich in terms of frequencies, video quality is very good too. Microphone in Coolpix doesn't capture higher frequencies very well, I think. Try to look at Casey's Neistat (guru of youtube vlogging and video shooting) "The Almost Perfect Camera" video about Canon S120 – worth considering.
That looks like a very nice camera. I hope you can get it to work for your YouTube videos. I do like the videos you make and wish you a happy new year.
